Entire rental unit. Short-term Rental Apartment

We arrived at the property around 1:00 pm and assumed we could have lunch before checking in at 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, when we returned at 4:00, we were informed that there was a delay as the cleaning staff were still working. After waiting until 5:49 pm for an update, we reached out again, but there was no response. By 7:02 pm, we inquired once more and were told they would keep us posted. Eventually, we were allowed to enter around 7:45 pm. To our surprise, there was an ongoing plumbing issue downstairs, and workers were busy tiling the bathroom floor. The noise continued until about 9:30 pm. Additionally, the kitchen was cluttered with a used toilet and sink, as well as a plunger, which was not pleasant. We expected some acknowledgment of the inconvenience, but the host did not apologize or propose any solutions. I requested a partial refund due to the late check-in and ongoing issues, but I was told the owner would have to be contacted and I never received a follow-up. Overall, this experience was quite disappointing, and I would not consider booking here again.

We had an AMAZING last-minute getaway at this property! The apartment is well-situated with convenient parking and a very accommodating host. It's just a short stroll to Starbucks, shops, and live music venues. While the couch showed some signs of wear, the stunning view from the windows made us quickly forget about any small imperfections. Highly recommend staying here!
